Dana at Good Stock gets a big ol’ A++ for her stellar shop, curation and perhaps the greatest shop name of all time. Good stock is tucked in along one Piedmont Ave in Oakland, doors down from the legendary Fentons ice cream - a trip down there is always dangerous because not only am I going to get an icecream scope the size of a soccer ball but I’m also prone to get a pile of goodies from the great shops in the area, good conversation and a hug from Dana (which, come to think of it, isn't dangerous at all).
Dana deciding to carry Bathing Culture?!
Are you on your bike pedaling towards Good Stock yet?! They have Bathing Culture, and while of this writing we’re backordered, I have it on good authority that they’ve still got some Bathing Culture in Good Stock, ( I also know that they go through it really fast, so maybe get it first then get ice cream?)
Here’s what they say about themselves ->
"Specializing in accessories and beauty: Good Stock strives to curate a thoughtful collection of things for adornment. Chosen specifically to inspire a love for ones self, the planet and each other, these are pieces that you will hold onto and use to the last drop."
Don't take our word for it, here's what the fans are saying via yelp...

I treasure both this shop and its sister shop next door, Neighbor. It is not easy to keep a shop innovative and interesting and a welcoming place to be. Good Stock and Neighbor manage to do all three.

Finally, I have found myself...this darling spot is the only place whereby I commit my time, my energy and my money as often as I can afford to indulge. Shopping, browsing or perusing feels as if one is going by to check on her best girlfriend's pied-a- terre while she shops in Sardinia for a long weekend. Hope floats and obscure decadence sails here at Good Stock. Don't drive by; walk in and prepare to be lifted!

I am so glad that Oakland has a boutique like this! The owner Dana, brings fresh, hip and micro-produced items to her well curated store.
Don't forget to get an ice cream next door (it goes well with Bathing Culture)
