  • Sales Account Executive

    Bathing Culture is a fast growing organic skincare and wellness brand designed for personal  and planetary health.Our goal is to bring joy through bathing, while changing how people think about everyday products and their impact on our environment and personal health. We are a Public Benefit Corporation.

    In this role, you will be in charge of finding new business partners including national premium retail chains, salons, high end grocery and refillerys. You’ll get exciting opportunities to work with amazing internal team members and external buyers to collaboratively grow and strengthen our wholesale footprint. Through this work you will be accountable for how Bathing Culture appears and grows into these channels. This is a foundational position and a huge opportunity for growth while having fun and being challenged.

    The ideal candidate will have a proven record of success pitching and selling to retailers, strong proficiency in project management, strategic planning, sales account management, and working collaboratively with multiple internal departments. Our retail partners and prospects will love hearing from you and the exciting opportunities you bring them.

    Job Responsibilities:


    Account development + management

    - Sell products into new accounts

    - Identify and develop sales opportunities with key partners across national premium retail chains, salons, high end grocery and refilleries

    - Work with the Bathing Culture sales and marketing team to expanding existing accounts through education, merchandising and relationships

    - Conduct engaging meetings with prospects including presentations, webinars and product demonstrations 

    - Share and spread the positive impact of Bathing Culture 

    - Attend a few trade shows & markets throughout the year (when safe) and present current line to buyers with relevant product knowledge.

    - Manage key accounts and monitor areas of growth, advising on sell-through of buys 

    - Maintain CRM 


    Strategy

    - Develop quarterly wholesale goals / targets

    - Provide monthly updates on achievements versus goals and an action plan to meet goals

    - Work closely with the product department on trend forecasting and direction of future selling seasons, product development, and account feedback

    - Analyze and utilize data for in-depth evaluation of accounts to recognize revenue opportunities and drive sales

    - Ensure seasonal plans meet business objectives & analyze business with planning team to maximize sales growth opportunities 

    - Partner with other departments as needed to ensure smooth transactions and efficient tool use

    - Provide inventory forecast estimate for channels 

    - Keeps management informed of economic, competitive, and other factors with recommendations for improvements/changes


    Qualifications:

    - A minimum of 3-5+ years experience working in wholesale sales ideally with industry / and or channel experience.

    - 2+ years of consumer-packaged goods (CPG) sales experience preferred

    - Examples of how you’ve driven growth

    - Some travel (as needed / safe) anywhere in the continental United States

    - Positive attitude and willingness to learn

    - Strong references 

    - Self-motivator, quick study, works hard independently, does not need constant direction

    - Track record of taking ownership and driving results

    - Concern for improving environmental, community and personal health 

    - Appreciation for bathing
